Short plays, poems and spoken word selections on reproductive freedom, health, rights and justice are now published in the Reproductive Freedom Festival Anthology released by Indie Theater Now.

At a time where our reproductive freedoms are being challenged and stigmatized, these selections raise the voices of talented artists and open new doors to the important role of culture in bringing vibrant stories to the public about human rights and social justice.

This online publication is a collection of writings from the Reproductive Freedom Festival produced by Words of Choice in Spring 2016. Thirty short theatrical works, each approximately five minutes long, recognize and celebrate the fundamental human right to bodily autonomy.

On January 22, 2011, at 6: 30 p.m., a consortium of reproductive rights groups, led by the NJ Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, will hold a Roe anniversary celebration at the First Unitarian Church of Plainfield New Jersey. Excerpts from Words of Choice include “Letters to Justice Blackmun,” author of the 1973 opinion in Roe v. Wade. The evening will feature a speaker from the National Advocates for Pregnant Women.
